Ralphie & "Eggward" (as he was affectionately known, for the hard boiled eggs in his packed lunch) were the very best of friends. The same sense of humour, both got very silly together, both worked hard school, both loud and full of energy. Unlike most friendships they didn't seem to have any little fallouts...even when Ralph broke Edward's collarbone landing on him while larking about one day 💙...Edward didn't hold it against him, he was just a bit miffed he couldn't do any sport for a while. They were true pals from the moment they met in reception for the last 6 years at school.

Before he passed Ralph and Edward both were discussing wanting Lego advent calendars this year 😍. (I'd said no as too expensive and would have to buy two).A week later my youngest Hugo got a lego calendar randomly for his birthday! Ralphie now tells Edward he will show him all the figures when they opened all 25 doors! Great!

We visited Edward today for the first time, as Ralph was very keen to see where he was, to light a couple of candles, but most of all take him the first lego figure. 💙💙. We've now decided to take him a figure every time we go and visit. Edward would love this.
