In December of last year, a friend and classmate of my youngest son died tragically of meningitis. Edward was 10 years old. He was an incredibly intelligent, polite, fun loving and popular young man. He lived life to the full and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His loss has had a profound effect on so many people and I, like many others, feel compelled to try and do something, however small, to help raise awareness about this cruel and indiscriminate disease.
Edward’s parents have set up the following page in Edward’s memory, to raise awareness and donations for the charity, Meningitis Now.
I am no longer regularly drawing; however, I have a number of original drawings which I would like to offer at a greatly reduced amount to raise money for Meningitis Now through Edward’s fund.
